UPDATE ON THE COMPETITIVE LANDSCAPE

So Ajay recently discovered a new cab-sharing service apparently known as Taxi2.  It’s an interesting concept, I guess, although perhaps a little cumbersome.  (Read more about it HERE.)

Essentially, Taxi2 seeks to connect travels at airports who are heading the same direction upon disembarking.  Though, rather bizarrely, the entire system seems to revolve around this cutesy little “sign” users are expected to create.  Granted, crafting can be fun, I guess.  I once date a girl who loved crafting.  So maybe this is a cab sharing platform for art students.

Also, word on the street is that the founder of one of our primary competitors in the cab sharing logistics space, CabEasy.com, is calling it quits.  No word on whether the website will be dismantled, but it is my hope that we can bring this individual into our team.  He may want to leave the game, but clearly he’s got a lot of knowledge and talent.  Perhaps we can convince him to join us in a more passive capacity?
