Dispatches from the streets of New York

We’ve reported on this previously, but this latest update confirms that New York City’s cab-sharing program is close to becoming a reality.  The timing couldn’t be better for CabCorner, LLC, as our website will require users already familiar with the cab-sharing concept.

Jon and I have encountered a lot of obstacles throughout our development process, but as we work them out and speed towards a re-launch of the site in early 2010, along with our new iPhone application, we’re likely to find a market more ready for our product.

BONUS:
Check out this regulatory update regarding the city’s pedicabs.  They’re the greenest mode of cab transportation out there, and we’re hopeful our site pushes people into those carts as well.  I once rode in a pedicab and, frankly, couldn’t help but feel like a spoiled southern plantation owner the entire time.
