…what you can do for your country

Fame and fortune would, admittedly, be enough.  But Jon and I aren’t committed to the implementation of the CabCorner model solely for the health of our bank accounts.

Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time to answer the call! Let’s invent our way to a new energy economy, let’s utilize the evolving technologies at our disposal, let’s help our government and activists and entrepreneurs and scientists usher in that vital era of sustainability.  Care to split the fare to the future?

So we have a choice to make.  We can remain one of the world’s leading importers of foreign oil, or we can make the investments that would allow us to become the world’s leading exporter of renewable energy.  We can let climate change continue to go unchecked, or we can help stop it.  We can let the jobs of tomorrow be created abroad, or we can create those jobs right here in America and lay the foundation for lasting prosperity.”  - President Barack Obama, March 19, 2009
