Jon:
The New York Times Magazine features a comprehensive look at the ZipCar phenomenon in today’s issue. I was struck by the way in which its target audience perfectly aligns with ours:
Zipcar, which has been doubling its ranks annually for much of its existence, sees many more prospective converts, an environmentally aware, cost-conscious, Internet-bred generation of urbanites who have come of age sharing information (Wikipedia), music (Napster), software (BitTorrent), videos (YouTube), entertainment (Netflix) and the excruciating minutiae of daily life (anyblog.com).
You may want to reach out to these cats dude, as potential partners. They would be ideal advertisers on CabCorner’s various digital properties, and certainly an ideal promoter of the services we provide. Our offerings don’t compete, either; they serve two different sides of the same consumer ethic.
